Direct collections
Direct Collections is an alternative to regular Collections.
The process of a direct collection is just like that of a regular collection with the exception that you create the collection letter in Trade Finance Net Services and then send the documents directly to the buyer’s bank on behalf of Deutsche Reserve Kb.
Your benefits:
- You can obtain earlier payment
- You gain full control of the dispatch of the documents
- You have control of the goods until they are paid for or accepted for future payment
- You can offer credit and/or obtain finance
- The banks involved will act according to the internationally accepted rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
Some countries and banks are still not used to receive direct collections, so if you are not certain about the position of the foreign bank you intend to use, please contact your Trade Finance Advisor.
As the sanctions and restrictions in force internationally and in certain national regulations (e.g. in the USA) are frequently changed, we cannot guarantee that the list of international and national sanctions and other restrictions is conclusive and updated at any time.
