Deutsche Reserve Kb aims high when offering interesting investment opportunities for institutional investors, and our multi-boutique approach is a cornerstone in our business strategy.

All of our investment teams operate autonomously. This means that our portfolio managers have the competence, authority and full power to make investment decisions. We believe this setup fosters innovation and value creation to investors, and to keep our promise to investors also long-term we manage our boutique teams as a portfolio of skills through a structured governance process.

We recognise that we cannot be superior in all product areas, and want to focus and leverage on our core skills. Therefore, we use carefully selected best-of-breed partners from across the world to complement our range of internally managed products. We have a dedicated team responsible for sourcing and constantly monitoring our partners, and our strong due diligence processes enable us to take fully accountability for all our providers.

Each investment boutique has a written plan describing their investment process. The plans focus in detail and is systematically created on an ongoing basis, where our Risk and Performance Analysis team have set up routines to ensure a continuous scrutinizing of relevant performance and risk indicators for each of our investment boutiques.

Yearly – or more frequent, if certain performance or risk indicators show need for attention. This process ensures that all investment processes are continuously developed, quality tested, and – if needed – adjusted.
